Wedding + Belgrade RedBull KOTR

Two mega productive and awesome days are behind me. On Saturday I was shooting my cousin’s weeding. It was pretty nice, but for me also very hardworking… You know its always hard to film weddings, especially if you are filming alone…

Just after the wedding party concluded (after 15hrs of filming) I started my journey. I drove all the way to Belgrade and coming there in the morning with only two hours of sleep in a car at the gas station, the guys from Bazamedia were already waiting me as the RedBull King Of The Rock was just about to start.

King Of The Rock is just another RedBull’s great, innovative, awesome, beyond perfect organised and supercool competition. I really respect RedBull guys all over the world for such a good ideas and creative way of spending money…

This time it goes about Basketball 1-on-1, which is organised in several different countries all over the world. What is the sickest thing here is that the finalists from all those countries are playing the world finals in Alcatraz, probably most famous prison in the world located in San Francisco. At the time operating Alcatraz was also known for 1-on-1 battles between the its customers.

In Serbia the finals were organised in Kalemegdan, a beautiful place in the center of Beograd which maybe even reminds on a prison… We are also having the Slovenian finals happening at Ljubljana castle on July 3. Till then check the yesterdays same day edit we created with the buddies from Bazamedia.

I love to work with the guys from Bazamedia because they are really masters in what they do and everytime I can learn something out. On top of that they are also such a good people and its always great when spending time with them. Pretty dream job for me :D.

Music video Trkaj – Hej ti

Heh, that was for sure the long lasting project I have been working on in whole my short career. Trkaj is a well known and appreciated Slovenian raper and I met him for the first time in club TOP, back in the days when I used to work for Slovenian TV station TV3 (he was interested in equipment I shot with – :D).

Than he called me one day if I have time to film some scenes how they record the song in a studio… Later in spring 2010, we got together also for some shots from Savsko naselje – the place where he grew up and used to live.

Everything in this music video was filmed spontaneously, just walking around and catching scenes to get the true feel of what he talks in a song. For non-slovenian speaking people – it goes about the friends and feelings from youth compared to the presence where old friendships disappeared.

We didn’t released the music video as I felt that we need to get some more lifestyle shots and the pictures for the end. After another year passed by we finnally collected all the stuff and I also found some time in Barcelona, to finish it up. Maybe its not the most professional and the fastest music video made, but its made deep in the hearts of Trkaj, me and other guys who helped.

In between we also cooperated on couple of projects,.. check reports for Safe.si from Koeln and Amsterdam (part1 and part2), and stay tuned for the real music video coming at the begining of the summer.

The Barcelona panoramas

This time I, don’t know why, make lots of panos… Probably because it’s so easy to create them with Autostich app and here in BCN there are so many good motives to shot :D.

First one is from Parc Guell, where you see the whole Barcelona on the hand. Its made of 20 photos…

Second one is the Marina from Forum, for me and for guys who love modern arhitecture the sickest place in BCN.

Third one I already posted in previous post, but I kinda feel it still also sorts here. The beautiful BCN beach sunset… It’s was taken on Wednesday, Sundays are lot more crowded.

Fourth one are the Favelas from Valcarca, pretty South American feel in BCN…

Fifth one is from the protest in the Placa Catalunya. People protest here against gouverment, drink beer, smoke grass and have fun, despite “retarded politics”.

On sixth one you can se the best party in Barcelona. Its called Nasty Mondays and happens every Monday in Apolo at Paral-lel. We managed to catch two parties, one on the day we came and the second on the day we left. We then went straight from the party on the plane back home, what at the end of all maybe wasn’t the most brilliant idea, but still, no biggie for us warriors :) .

Barcelona continues

After busy two days of finishing Slovenian raper’s Trkaj new music video i finnally made it out of our apartment.

Being so busy editing I missed a party where other buddies met P Rod, the guy from my favourite skate commercial :D.

We also did some skateboarding, chilling and some sightseeing to Sagrada Famillia (last thing mostly because our photodog Primož wanted so ;) – do you remember him? The wild boy from the party?).
