Some more Sailsation pics + Trkaj’s new Trip-to-Berlin-music video

On 27, Jul 2011 | In Finished Projects, Random Happenings, Traveling | By Luka Stanovnik

Jea, jea, back to work big time… Have lots of projects in our scedules, there are only unforgettable memories from last two weeks :D. Few more pictures for the begining :D. (first two pictures maybe best desktop backgrounds ever? ;))

We are also freshly releasing new video which was shot in Berlin. It was captured spontanously just catching scenes on that unforgettable road trip. I find it pretty simple, but worth a lot. If i look back its actually pretty cool as it was raining as hell all weekend long. Here it is… Hope you like it…

“If this is a recession, it should last forever” – Sailsation

On 20, Jul 2011 | In Random Happenings, Traveling | By Luka Stanovnik

The topic quote is a translation from trailer we made for Sailsation.eu, and now after last week’s snowboard filming, I finnally found some time to enjoy the summer edition of this supercool party sailing. We are also filming a promo for next year.

I moved from 3600m heights to the seaside in less than day,.. Super cool offices ha? :D

I have setup my editing corner in the yacht.

Right now we are in Sali on the island called Dugi otok. It’s supercool here and we are staying here for one more day because of unstable weather conditions.

I found a boat which I would really love to have. Everything goes retro, this one would perfecly fit me for easy summer cruising,… I would just build a fridge in it and speakers, pick some friends and go for a ride ;) In Monaco maybe ;).

The night life is also pretty wild,… Good people, good locations, good vibes…

Yesterday I also found head skipper Tit (who of course does not drink and goes to sleep after the cartoons at 7PM) with a very wierd toy instead of his beloved teddybear which he had forgotten at home.

Rain is pain

On 13, Jul 2011 | In Random Happenings | By Luka Stanovnik

Heavy rain today here in Les2Alpes, time to chill :D…

Sometimes I ask myself whether this is a Burton team or Apple team :D.

I did some timelapses on balcony, inbetween I shoot those two below…

I really hope that the weather gets better as I would really like to shot a skate clip with the guys. :D

Les2Alpes Downhill

On 12, Jul 2011 | In Random Happenings, Traveling | By Luka Stanovnik

After pretty much the whole team got wasted yesterday, we woke up this morning with more or less big hangovers. Then we packed everything together to go on the mountain, already stepped out of the apartment when the pretty cool news hit us – “its to windy up there, everything is closed”.

First we got another few hours of sleeping and then we decided to rent some downhill bikes… I have never tried it before so professionally, we were just riding random bikes down from the hills near Ljubljana back in the days…

We got to the station of liftline, when I, jerk, recognized that i forgot my ticket. Went back to the apartment, while other guys decided to wait for me up on the mountain.

Later, I was like 5 mins after them, the gondola stopped and stayed still for almost 50mins. Others luckily already went off and rode back down.

I, stucked in, finally found some time to think of myself, my soul, my inside part and…. no seriously thanks God for Flight Control app. Time goes by like nothing :D.

To not be such a geek I also made one pano.

Later we did one more run with Grilo, where we got some shots but I cannot publish them yet as it is for Burton.

First day France Les2Alpes

On 10, Jul 2011 | In Random Happenings, Traveling | By Luka Stanovnik

I’m stoked over that place and stoked to meet the guys from Burton team again. We are just taking it easy, chilling, doing mellow runs,.. Its funny when we lift up from 30 degerees down in the valley to 3600m where is only few degrees above zero. Pretty temperature shock…

I used two interesting setup configurations today,… and found some time to pic them when I was waiting to complete my egg-timer-GoPro timelapse.

The second thing is the handle for follow cams, but I found out, that you need to hold it with two hands, otherwise its more shaky than filming just with the camera itself. Tomorrow i am also bringing a cat-like cover for microphone because the winds up there are pretty high.
