On 28, Dec 2011 | In Catchy Tunes | By Luka Stanovnik
We are just editing official clip and BTS documentary from Red X-Mas Party, which took place in LJ on Dec 15 and just found Steve Edwards singing that song… Such a catchy tune with a great vibe for the end of December…

Jea, jea,… check the third episode we were filming in the beginning of the month in Colorado… Grilo, Charles Reid and Mikkel Bang killing it big time!
Now back to work… Official Red X-Mas Party clip with David Guetta, Afrojack and Paris Hilton on the way… Too legit. Too legit to quit. :D
Music Video – Trkaj Sam + Making Of
On 20, Dec 2011 | In Finished Projects | By Luka Stanovnik
So just before I went to America, I found few days to shot the music video for Trkaj. Everything was pretty tight only a day and half of filming… we had really good in deep constructed scenario but no locations, no pre-shots and we didn’t even know each other well with the main actors which we got the day before :D…
But it luckily concluded to be a great success. Everything went out pretty perfect,… I edited the music video on the road and in the end what is the best is that video got appreciated like probably no other that kind of video before in Slovenia. We expected nothing but so many people shared it on public networks and so many great comments were posted. (more than 20k and 850 likes on YT in 4 days)
Song is reminding that we need to take some time also to meet elderly people, and we just wanted to make a video that makes you feel that. Its hard to understand for you people that do not speak Slovenian… But hope you get it out of video…
I really need to mention guys who made this spot came true. Rok Lukšič did a great job helping me storytelling and directing, Dominik Istenič did great job gearing us up with all the stuff, setting the light, solving logistical problems.
It really is awesome because we shot the first 50s at night and properly lit the place that it looks like a bright day. Such a good job guys :D. And last but not least i need to mention Matic Oblak who got some really nice (one take) shots at the concert!
Than I need to mention main actor Lenča Ferenčak. She really is a big boss. More than 70 years a long but still so young by heart. We got on the same mind level the first second when we met and just enjoy the filming. She had no problems with cold, no problems with more than 15 hours long set the first day,…, no problems with acting, she just did what we told her. No biggie at all.
Or.. Except one minor problem… She had broke one lens on her glasses back in the days and let them repair only one of the lenses. We started in the darker conditions (on stairs and outside) but then it got a bit more bright after half of a day and only one lens got colored. Kinda sketchy on one hand but still, kinda pretty on the other. :D

Then for sure all other guys who helped… Natja and Nina, Aleš and Peter, all the guys at Dom starejših občanov Fužine, all the other actors, and most important Jadranka Juras and Rok Trkaj for a great song and believe in us to get us the free hands to film the video how we would like to! Hope to do another project like this soon!

Few snaps from New York
On 20, Dec 2011 | In Random Happenings, Traveling | By Luka Stanovnik
I owe you a few blog posts but i just can not find time to write them all… So the first one is from New York where I spent last week, just cursing around, sightseeing shopping,… after a week of work in Colorado.

I kinda figured out that I haven’t seen some of the most important things such as the Statue of Liberty, Soho, Wall Street… but anyway NY is kinda too big to do them all in 3 days minus 1 day shopping = 2days :D
So the first day we checked up Ground Zero… Its looks pretty optimistic, just building new tower and everything is nice… but you still get some unpleasant feeling there (the same I got where i was first time in Sarajevo). It really is hard for all those families and I just wish RIP to all those people.
We then moved around a bit checked the big central station :D It really is nice but what is the most interesting there is the Apple store. Man… They have fixed iPads just next to every Apple product… Imagine 20 iPads on the table to try it in your hands and then another 20 just to show the specifications right next to it.. And the same with (iPhones, iPods, iMacs, Mac Books…) So crazy :D
When it got darker we decided to get up the Empire State Building… Some photos here… (First photo is probably the most photographed guy in NYC)
When we got out lately I met some Vietnam veteran in the bar… Its really hard for some those guy too… Emotions are still so alive and stuff… Hope that we will never need to face the war…
Next day we went to Rockafeler… To feel the famous Christmas vibe :D.
(I think the last photo shows that white iPhone still can have problems with flash… But it was the first time.)
The last day we went for some shopping… Bought some classics…And the gifts for my peeps at home.
And one another thing. I am really un satisfied with the look of the flight attendants :D I kinda expected too much… and then got just elderly ladies 45+ on the flight over there. When I thought thats the worst that can happen to me I got two weird guys and and elderly lady on the flight from Denver to NY… its worse than the Ryanair… Next time I expect nothing.
But still for the end… flying our small home airline is always fun…
