Filming pow for Grilo’s next episode
On 15, Jan 2012 | In Random Happenings, Traveling | By Luka Stanovnik
Last week I was filming in Montafon&Silvretta for the next episode. Actually it was first time for me to film backcountry and pow so i was pretty lucky that we were together with the Pirate Movie Producion, because the guys are mega experienced and know a lot how to behave in dangerous and unstable circumstances…
They are also pretty next level bringing RED One to those supernatural conditions…
The crew.
I didn’t want to bring a lot of weight up on the mountain so i left my tripod and only brought a monopod… Everybody there was making fool of me but it turned out to be a great success. And the results can be easy compared to tripod ones…
And its so sick having xBox Kinect in hotel lobby,… So we were playing every evening… Grilo kinda beats me in snowboarding but check his pose in XBox Ski racing… Lame…
Awesome day @ home mtn

Grilo called me in the morning for lazy afternoon shredding,… We went to our closest ski resort Krvavec where they built a nice little snowpark,… And I i finally got second day riding on snow this season next to probably a month of filming snowboarders :)

And it for sure is a great cure against hangover and getting fat because of editing 24/7,…
Sarajevo sooo fun…
On 05, Jan 2012 | In Random Happenings, Traveling | By Luka Stanovnik
In this post I will explain how to party in Sarajevo… We really took it off and except eating and sleeping we havent been doing much more… Or maybe sightseeing a bit when going for a morning coffee around the 5pm afternoon …
Down below a typical Serbian dinner… (there are still a lot of Serbian people in Sarajevo, they have their own parts of the city called RS – republika Srbska)
The thing is that in Sarajevo and probably also in the whole Balkan, wherever you are they play their national music called Narodnjaki… Its like that …
As you see its weird as fuck and in fact you can not enjoy it at all, except if you pretend that you enjoy it :D. So all you need to do is that you put your hands in the air like that and sing the last vowels of the words (A,E,I,O,U)…
Soon you get used to it and people start liking you and treat you that you are one of them…
Matej also found another way to enjoy it… He was pretending he is a scale and was weighting the girls …
The fun thing is that when we arrived just start talking to some guy at the entrance… It turned out to be the manager of the club and the gave us the Business card (with the director’s name on it) … Later that night all the security guards were flirting with the girl on the pic above, when Matej started to weigh her… Guards just went mad and tried to throw Matej out of the club… But he just started telling them that we arrived with the Senad (the name on the business card) and they just got feared as fuck and start being polite and leave him back in the club… Soo fun … :D
But the big boss was my friend Dominik. He just disappeared while we had this thing with guards… Afterwhile we started looking for him, checking all the place 3times and found him DJing… the first time in his life :D
Despite the wild night he was also full of energy in the morning. That’s my boy.
Here is one group photo for the end..
Uh and I almost forgot… One mellow pic from NY celebrating…
